The owner wanted to update this Denver icon known as the Southmoor Clock Tower. The mansard section was covered with shake shingles and windows protruding outward, which made it very dark in the offices, besides being an outdated look. We demolished all the shakes and window extensions. We installed cementious stucco on the building’s exterior and created new trim detail around the windows. We also painted the building. We installed a new entry and windows for the storefront. In the main entry, we installed slate on the walls and floors, and repaired the hand rail.
